About Mountain Podiatry

Our mission is to treat each patient individually, ensuring that those we cannot help are referred to someone who can. We are committed to a philosophy that embraces the body's natural ability to heal itself, recognizing the integral roles of mind, body, and spirit in the healing process.


Our goal is to provide comprehensive foot and ankle care through a variety of treatments, including biomechanical evaluation, custom orthotics, sports injury management, wound care, minimally invasive procedures, and preventative education. We measure our success by the positive outcomes of our patients and rely on their testimonies to share the benefits of our care. Through unwavering dedication, we aim to improve the health of our community, one patient at a time, helping each person maintain optimal foot health for an active, pain-free lifestyle.

Our Goals & Mission

A Podiatrist treats foot and ankle deformities using conservative to surgical care and has additional training in full residency programs throughout the country. Podiatrists treat children to the elderly for any issues that arise with their feet and are very involved with people who are diabetic to prevent issues that can lead to ulcers and amputation. Podiatrists keep people’s feet healthy, out of pain and to allow them to be active for their lifetime.


Drs. Hyman, Wadington and Lobos are board-certified in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery by the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry. They are also members of the American Podiatric Medical Association, North Carolina Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Hyman has been practicing in Hendersonville since 2000 and Dr. Wadington, after five years of practice in Chicago, joined Dr. Hyman in March 2005, Dr. Lobos joined the practice in 2025.
