To our patients regarding COVID-19 restrictions:

We continue to be open to serve our patients in the Hendersonville, Asheville, and Brevard communities. Our offices will continue to provide a safe, clean environment for your visit. Our entire staff is being proactive and wearing masks. We also ask our patients to join us and to wear a face mask as well. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided. However, please bring your own if possible as our supplies are limited. As always, we ask that any patient or family member who displays symptoms such as a cough, fever, or shortness of breath to reschedule appointments until they are symptom-free for at least 72 hours.

Laser Treatment

Dr. Hyman and Dr. Wadington use the Q-Clear™ Nd:YAG laser system, which has been FDA approved for treatment of fungal nails and for a variety of other podiatric and dermatologic conditions. Clinical studies have shown this laser system to be highly effective in improving nails that have been discolored or deformed due to fungal and certain other infections. In clinical use, treatments using the Q-Clear™ laser system have been shown to be substantially more effective in clearing nails than treatments relying on topical or systemic medications. There have been no reported incidents of any significant adverse effects due to these treatments.

Wart Treatment

Dr. Hyman and Dr. Wadington use the Swift Wart Treatment System, which has been FDA approved for the treatment of stubborn plantar warts. Clinical studies have proven to be highly effective in the treatment of plantar warts. It delivers low dose microwave energy through a specialized probe that targets and effectively treats the underlying HPV virus by stimulating a natural immune response in the body. Swift protocol involves 3 to 4 treatments, spaced 4 weeks apart; aligning with the body’s natural immune cycle. All patients continue on with day-to-day activities immediately following treatment.
