With state of the art technology, to diagnose and treat our patients, we offer a wide range of medical treatments for foot and ankle disorders. It is our desire to take less invasive measures, and to prevent surgeries. However, both Dr. Hyman and Dr. Wadington are both Board Certified foot and ankle Surgeons if possible surgery is needed.

We offer on-site x-rays, in office and hospital procedures. Our caring Staff and Physicians’ goal is to make you feel at ease, keep you comfortable, and to get you back on your feet.

Insurance

Here at Mountain Podiatry, we take a number of different health insurance plans including: Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, CIGNA, Humana, Medcost, Medicare, Tricare, United Health Care, and WellCare.

If your plan is not listed here, and you have out-of-network benefits, we can still work with your insurance plan. Co-pays and insurance deductibles are expected to be paid at the time of service.

Laser Treatment

The Q-Clear™ laser system targets the fungi disrupting the growth of healthy nails. It is designed not to harm (”anti-target”) the healthy tissues surrounding the nail. It does this by sending a high intensity burst of light, with just the right characteristics (wavelength, uence, and temporal format) to pass through the nail plate without injuring the underlying skin. At the time of treatment no visible change is seen. A more normal nail is expected to appear as the nail grows out. Usually some improvement can be seen within a few months following treatment, but complete regrowth of the nail may take up to a year.

Laser treatment is typically painless and no recovery period is needed. Unfortunately, at this time, insurance will not cover the cost of laser. Please call our office for information on cost and any other questions you may have.

Cryoprobe

Cryoprobe is a new treatment for warts and other non-cancerous lesions on your feet. It uses liquid nitrogen to destroy the lesion in a way that is less painful than with older methods. While this may require several treatments, it is quite successful and does not generally cause any down time following the procedure. One of the biggest advantages is that it is done right in the office and is covered by most insurance plans.

Swift Wart Treatment

Unlike other types of warts, plantar warts are typically quite painful as the pressure from walking and standing forces them to grow into your skin making them very difficult to treat from the surface of the skin. Mountain Podiatry is proud to announce the acquisition of The Swift Wart Treatment System. This new device has been FDA approved for the treatment of stubborn plantar warts and clinical studies have proven its treatment to be highly effective. The Swift probe delivers low dose microwave energy that targets and effectively treats the underlying HPV virus by stimulating a natural immune response in the body.
